No more Sundown Perfect Iron !!!

Now I have to figure out what to take, I seen my Nutritionist a month ago she said my Ferritin was high so I have to cut back I was taking 4 a night. Not sure what to take now. What do you take now if you took Sundown Perfect Iron and how often and how many, I can't spend much, Sundown was cheap and had alot of vitamins.

I know - I died when they discontinued it. I even called them to complain! I bought every bottle I could find on amazon and eBay, so I have enough to last me a couple of years. Not sure what to do when I run out. Vitalady used to sell carbonyl iron, but she's been out of stock for quite awhile. There are some other commercial brands available, like Ferosol, I believe, although they're pricier than Sundown. I may have to bite the bullet, though, because I really like carbonyl iron better than anything else I've tried...

I'm gonna call my Bariatric Nutritionist to get some input. I had a year supply but on last bottle. I will look for some Iron at store maybe find something.

What was your ferritin last time they tested? what they consider high?

FYI: you are very lucky (and i am jealous) that you can tolerate and absorb oral iron.

My Ferritin number is 161, I also have to cut back on b-12 number level is 1207

I wouldn't try to drop lower than that on ferritin. It's not high at all. And I like my B12 to be at least 1500.

This is the recomended from my Bariatric Nutrition after she looks at labs, I have to get my Feritin and Iron checked in 3 months. I'm not sure what level she wants me at.

I'm trying the iron pat*****onjunction with the last of my supply of sundown. I'm hoping my iron/ferritin level will increase with the combination and can be just maintained on the patch
