Question about fullness
I'm a month and a half out. I don't get the full feeling, and if I do.. oh dear lord I've eaten way too much and end up getting sick. I honestly suggest to follow what everyone else is saying. Measure out your food, eat that in 20-30 min then walk away until 3 hours later when it's time for another meal. Also, cottage cheese is great for helping with giving you more to process. Just don't over do it, because you will def. know when you do.
Foamies, nausea, and or throwing back up what you ate. (TMI on that last part, but if you eat too fast or don't chew well enough you will get that last part) I found the first month out to be the hardest on me...I never felt like I was getting enough in. But honestly.. my nut said that for the first month... your going to be all over the place on cals in/weight lost. Good luck though and I really hope you heal well and fast. OH and one more piece of advice... if you feel hungry alot.. you could be getting heartburn and if so talk to your doc about getting some antacid.
I am 4.5 weeks out and I can eat anything but nuts, raw veggies..
I live mostly on high protein veggie burgers, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, protein shakes, peanut butter and tuna.
I have felt full once or twice and was very uncomfortable. I have learned to notice the slightest hint of fullness and then full stop!
