HILARIOUS nsv
Yesterday, while speaking with a coworker, another one walked up to me that works in a remote location from my office. I haven't seen this guy in a year, though we've emailed occasionally if he needed my assistance. He walked up to me and introduced himself, asking if I was "the new guy" hired on recently. I looked a little bit confused I'm sure, but I said "No, he's over in that office" (pointing over yonder) and added "I've been here almost 10 years now, Frank." (me still not cluing in that he doesn't recognize me with 100 lbs lost since we last met in person). I figured it out only slightly before he did. He was taken aback that I knew his name, and stood there looking at me for a good minute of silence. Then he figured it out and was REALLY taken aback at the difference.
My coworker, behind a cubicle wall, was in tears laughing at this transaction and I was trying to keep a straight face because I could see her dying back there.
SO funny.

Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.
That's an awesome NSV! Congratulations!!!

That's crazy! Congrats though. Yes, I've had people that didn't recognize me when I was bigger (or chose not to?) and now that I'm smaller they all of a sudden know who I am again! Crazy world we live in. My face is the same - just smaller! :)

**Half the woman I was**
I ran into a guy I worked with years ago. He kept looking at me and then said, "You look so different. Did you change your haircolor?"
It is funny because people do not always pay any attention to our weight we think they are judging us when they really have other things on their mind.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Yes! A guy I worked with looked really hard at me for a while and said "You've changed something. Did you cut your hair?". No, but I did lose 100 pounds since I had last seen him.

You don't realize that we really do rely on shapes to recognize people. At least I never realized it until recently.
