Surgery was 1 week and a day ago. Seen the nutritionist today and I can move up on the diet to soups, pudding and yogurt! I already exceeded my projected weight loss for 1 month after surgery. I weigh 29 pounds less than my highest weight and lost 8 pounds since day of surgery. Tomorrow is follow up with my surgeon and diabetic doctor.

You feeling better now, right? It's not quite so scary for you anymore? Congratulations on your positive results! Hopefully it will just keep getting better for you from here on out.

So happy for you. Just a heads up, I could not do the pre-made packaged SF pudding as my tummy does not like the sugar alcohols-it took me eating it twice to figure it out. I could mix the dry SF pudding mix with plain Greek yogurt with no problem though.

How much could you eat in 1 sitting? I never thought of mixing the powder with yogurt. I'm not normally a fan of Greek yogurt but noosa is my favorite.

Hmmm, at that time probably 1/2 a normal sized yogurt container. I've never tried noosa so I'm not sure of the stats on it, I'm sure you already know this, bu****ch the sugar content in any yogurt.

Noosa isn't greek yogurt and it's full of sugar, so avoid that one. The pudding with greek yogurt is SO good. If you like it sweeter try using Dannon Light and Fit. If not, you can use plain greek yogurt like Fage or Chobani.

Going to have to try the pudding with yogurt - I haven't had that yet!

I'm 11 days out from my surgery now and just got into the greek yogurt phase yesterday. One thing my program suggested that is AMAZING is greek yogurt with a splash of lime juice and a couple pinches of stevia. Tastes like the very best key lime pie.

If you're not a fan of lime, you could try it with other fruit juices too - just a splash though, to control the carbs. :)

Love me some Fage plain yogurt with either sugar free maple syrup or sugar free rasberry preserves.

Hummus was my go-to salty food early on.
