my surgervsary, and stalling
So.. What you doing is not working for you now. Time to change things.
The closer to goal you are the more difficult it may be to lose weight.
When I was at that stage, intuitively I was doing "calories cycling". I would have a few days off really low carbs, low calorie days (600-700 calories) followed by a day off more calories - 1400-1500. To lose - I needed to average 800-1000 per day based on weekly menu. I had some "just protein and fats day", with little to no carbs. Followed by higher (50gr) carb days.
Moderate proteins- and fat, low carbs - that was my diet plan to lose weight. And not the same foods, same routine every day. Mix things up, calories, food type, even time when I ate. Surprised the body. Mess up the routine.

For me, as I started stalling, I found that keeping a close eye on my carbs, combined with lowering my calories helped a lot...
There's someone that always reminds us that a pound is 3500 calories... to lose a pound a week you must reduce your calories by 500/day. It's hard to see in black and white, but it's some advice I've read on here that really resonates with me (thank you to whoever it is, I can't remember right now!).
Carbs really affect my weight... so does water. Make sure you are drinking at least 96 ounces a day.

Hi Billie73,
Congrats on what you have lost!!! As everyone else said shake things up, change your eating, and how you are moving. Make sure you are not unintentionally moving away from all the basics like logging all your food and how much and when. If you need a list, let me know and I will be glad to send one to you that helped me
Hang tough, I had a 9 week stahl and almost lost my mind But I stayed the course and once I started losing again it did not stop until I was past my goal weight
