Tmi female problems ahead

Surgery was a week ago, 4 days before surgery I had the iud placed, I just had my period 2 weeks ago and now I'm passing blood clots the last 2 days and its acting like a period. Could this be from getting heparin? Should I be worried.? Blood clots arent overly large and its not even a light flow.

Have you called the doctor that inserted the IUD yet? If not, I'd start there for guidance. And then let us know what they say.

Two of my close friends had IUDs placed about a week apart in early August. Both have been having irregular bleeding since. They have been told that it's "normal" and will level out over time. I'd call your doctor but I wouldn't be too worried.

I've heard too that the "trauma" of surgery can do weird things to your cycle also, so between surgery and a fresh IUD placement, you're more than likely ok. Call your doc to ask just to be sure.

I had my gallbladder out a couple of years ago, and got my period during surgery, even though it was not even close to time. So yeah...weird things. Lol

That's probably just your IUD. I hated the Mirena because it never stopped doing that to me.
