What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Happy Birthday Teena! You are looking great (love that outfit on you)!
QOTD: hmmm... Summer, Summer, Summer... I guess if I had to pick a second one it would be Fall. Winter is a pain with the snow and cold, and Spring tends to be rainy and go right into Summer here on Cape Cod. Maybe I'll have a different answer once I start wintering in Florida in a couple of months?

Good morning! Ooops I am still sitting on the couch at 7:30m. I should have been at work 30 minutes ago and I have at least 1.5 hours of commuting to get through. D'oh. I was away for the weekend and I guess I am still feeling like I am in vacation mode :)
QOTD: SUMMER! I am cold-blooded so I love the heat. I also just love all the beach towns around here and I love nothing more than wandering around by the ocean. We did that on Martha's Vineyard yesterday and it was dreamy. I wish I lived somewhere where it was sunny and warm year-round...
I just finished a leftover apple fritter for breakfast that we brought back from the island. Soooo sugary and delicious. But that's it--no more crap this week!
My husband was up in CT last week and drove up to RI... the pictures were gorgeous. Yours reminded me of his.
If only it wasn't so cold up there in the Winter, and Summer lasted longer! LOL

Happy birthday, Teena!!
This is going to be another busy week. Ugh. Plus I worked all day yesterday, so I'm going to get my days screwed up (happens every time!!). At least it'll feel great when it's over!!
Going to a memorial service this afternoon - a co-worker's father died. He (the father) was only 61. Cancer. Really sad. At least my father got to live a full life...
QOTD: I like spring & fall for the weather. Although I hate hot weather almost as much as I hate cold weather, I like summer for the "feeling" - for the nostalgia - long days, no school, hanging out at the beach (even though I haven't been to a real beach in years...). Winter I pretty much hate all around...(so why did I move to Wisconsin???)
I'm going to try really hard to cut back a bit on calories this week. I'm above my comfort range again this morning (up 2 lbs since yesterday). I know it's almost certainly water weight, but I'd like to keep even my "water weight weight" within my acceptable range, too, which means I need to lose a couple of pounds. This shouldn't be too hard, right?
2 years 3 months out
B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries & blueberries
S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein/Miralax shake
L: chicken salad (made with Greek yogurt) on a FlatOut FoldIt
D: chicken/peach/pecan salad
