I'm 8 days post-op (RNY) and came home weighing 11 lbs more than the morning I had surgery. I haven't had many gas issues, but I was pretty bloated. I'm on miralax, too. I'm regularly hitting my protein and fluid goals, and only today am I the same weight as the morning of surgery.

So it sounds to me like this is pretty normal!

You are still retaining fluid. Everyone is different. The most important thing right now is getting fluids in and walk when you can.

Everyone is different. I lost 11 pounds the first week and then didn't lose for 3 ½ weeks. Extended stall. Stinks. Just stick with the program and be patient.

Congratulations on your surgery! If you're following your plan, then don't worry about the water weight from surgery; you'll lose it again.

Everyone is different, and some gain after surgery, while others don't. No matter which one you are, the weight will start coming off, and keep coming off, as long as you follow your plan. Your ticker says you're already down 17 Lbs, which is fabulous!
