Good morning :)
I'm so glad it's Friday. This is a weird feeling for me because usually I don't care -- sometimes I worked on weekends or wasn't working at all so day of the week didn't make a difference.
Accountability: stupid kitchen. Someone brought a whole box of hot apple fritters from the local market. Now I remember why I gained weight when I worked in an office before.
QOTD: for the first year I was 100% on plan all the time. Lost all my weight in 11 months. Second year I was still on plan but allowed a few more calories. Since the wedding in June things have been totally off. I would say I've gone from a 9 to a 4.
Post-op two years and six months.
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - egg, yogurt
Snack - chicken
Snack - turkey sausage
Snack - pepperoni
Dinner - meaty sauce with veg
Snack - protein shake
All water and vits.
Fresh apple fritters nearby would defy almost ANYONES self-control (I definitely could not resist and would have to ask that they be removed or hidden). I had some pretzels and salted caramel dip in the house that I partook of a few days ago (bringing me to the top of my weight range). I asked that DS take the pretzels and I emptied the salted caramel into the trash with the doggie pee pads (in the morning when I have good self-control).

Also, you are not even remotely "fat" (it's just that nasty voice in your head saying that): You know what to do to take off that 4 pounds, but having a new and demanding job makes it really difficult!

Oh man, about to jump in the shower, but had to jump in for Qotd: a solid 4, max. Like, part of me thinks I can succeed long term, but every time I get complacent, I'm reminded I am just one pasta meal or ice cream cone from falling down the rabbit hole. Which I know isn't exactly how it works...but it kinda is.
This weekend is folk fest in Ottawa, so we'll be hanging out there. We missed last night, my mother in law from Quebec City and sister in law from Germany were staying with us. So we're going to max out our passes for the rest of the weekend!
menu:
B: premier and coffee
L: Thai tuna and cream cheese
D: tbd, on when we head to the folk fest.
