What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Late posting today, I've been busy at work. We're bringing on a ton of new business and currently offering unlimited overtime at not just time and a half, but double time! Since I don't have kids yet to get home to, and I like money...hoping to take in some extra mula for the holidays, and pay off some things. DH and I are currently saving to buy a bigger home, so most of my overtime pay will end up in savings.
Qotd: hard to say since I'm not there yet. I'm not at all confident about being able to lose more than 20-30 lbs on my own and keeping even that much off, which is why I've decided on surgery in the first place :P
breakfast: 4 chicken maple sausage links
snack: protein shake
lunch: 3 oz shredded chicken fajita meat with peppers and about 1/4 C refried black beans. 1 TBSP sour cream
snack: 1.5 oz turkey and cream cheese roll ups. Turkey and cream cheese combo is my new favorite thing.
Dinner: spinach salad with 2-3oz chicken, balsamic vinaigrette

Howdy,
QOTD: Difficult question. Over the last 15 years, I did manage to keep most of the weight off and slooooowly regained for a variety of reason. I hope I am smarter than the last few times, but my level of confidence is about a 4-5.

Hello menu friends. JB I love the dress in your after picture. You have been an inspiration to me, and I love how you are so open about the real struggles of maintenance. It shows me that this is something that I will have to work on forever, but that it can be done.
I work nights all weekend so doing a quick post before going to work and will read posts on a break tonight.
QOTD: I am currently pretty confident that I will keep my weight off this time. I lost 182 pounds on my own several years ago (8 or so), and gained it all back and then some. I learned alot from that, and I don't ever want to go back.
Accountability: ate on plan yesterday.

Super late post for me, and I'm doing it mostly to be accountable. My food this week has been off, since I've been sick. Today has been no different. The weather here is beautiful, so I'm hoping that I feel up to my saturday morning run (although it may be more of a jog for me) mostly because I have a 10k in 2 weeks and need to get some more training miles in.
JBQOTD: A 2-3. I see people on this thread, farther out than I am who are able to eat soooooo much less than I do on a consistent basis. When I see that, I do a good job with the self talk to convince myself that I don't have what it takes. I don't have it in me to restrict food and keep my calories below 800 3.5 years post surgery. So, when I see what it takes for you all to be successful, and you peg your chance of long-term success at 5 or below on the 1-10 scale, I know there's no way in hell I have it in me to do it.
My plan:
B: Bacon (3 slices)
L: .8 c mushroom barley soup (I don't have any unflavored protein and because adding in Quest vanilla protein sounds gross, it's a low protein/high carb meal, but I needed something warm)
D: ??? Fish maybe. I haven't been too hungry all week so it's completely up in the air
S: SF latte
No totals because, seriously, why bother.
