Good morning menu folks! I'll start out the thread today, but I won't be able to tomorrow.

QOTD: Do you drink protein shakes? What are your favorite brands and flavors? Do you use a RTD or a mix? I like the Syntrax Nectar brand of mixes. I keep several flavors around so I can have some variety. My favorite flavors are Cappuccino, Fuzzy Navel and Grape.

Menu:

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz TJ's ham

Snack: Grape protein shake

Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast

Dinner: TJ's Herb Mustard salmon, cauliflower

Exercise: deep water aerobics

Good morning :)

Not much on the go today. Hoping to drag DH out to get groceries later. It used to be just my job but now we are supposed to be sharing everything. It sort of works. I get up with the puppies in the morning, he takes care of them at lunch since he is way closer to home. I'm planning a trip across to Niagara Falls on Saturday to pick up some more good treats that aren't available here :)

Accountability: I had a small muffin yesterday. I don't know why. It was sitting in our office kitchen after a meeting (apparently this happens a lot) and I was heating up my food and I took it back to my desk. Why???

QOTD: I usually just use the Costco chocolate powder. It works for what I need and it's a huge container. I have tried a few different ones, but this one is consistently available. My centre doesn't want us using protein supplements, so I didn't use any protein powders for the first year post-op. Now I like having half a scoop in the morning when my pouch is still sleepy.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg, yogurt

Snack - turkey sausage

Snack - chicken

Snack - turkey pepperoni, cheese

Dinner - meaty pasta sauce with veg

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

Happy Thursday! It is a somewhat short day for me and tomorrow I'm done by 11 (yeah).

QOTD: I rarely use protein shakes anymore (17.5 months post-op), but when I do I use Premier Protein. I was never able to get powders mixed well so I gave up. Then I won the Premier Pro giveaway so I have LOTS of them (though I have been sharing with others). I am using it right now as creamer in my coffee (thank you Daisy!) because I am doing CAMAW for a few days to calm my carb craving.

17.5 months post-op (maintenance). 58 or fewer work days to retirement.

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: shrimp

S: yogurt

Ok... I luv your eggs and cottage cheese cooked in the microwave so do you put the Canadian bacon in with it or is it served separately? This enquiring mind needs to know. Yeah 58 or less days retirement countdown!

39 work days officially now! I get Jones Canadian bacon (20 calories a slice) - photo below. I cut it up into small pieces and put it in with the eggs and cottage cheese in the micro. Someone in my VSG maintenance group mentioned the Canadian bacon (great stuff)!

Good morning. I've been MIA for a week or so due to work and work travel. I'm happy to be home and get back to my regular exercise and food schedule.

QOTD: I can't tolerate protein shakes anymore. I've tried a few but since about 2 mos post op I get really nauseous. I'd rather save my cals for real food anyway.

B: dunkins coffee and wake up wrap

L: 2oz deli ham and cheese

S: turkey pepperoni

D: egg beater omelet with ham and cheese, bacon

S: popcorn

Vitamin patches are on. I added a Biotin patch since I'm noticing hair loss.

Ran 1.5miles this morning.

Good morning everyone. Hope your Thursday is awesome - I'm working in the office today and it's a lovely day here so far.

QOTD: I am a Beachbody coach so i use Shakeology. I love the flavours and the extra nutrition. My favourite is the Caffe Latte flavour.

Menu today- a little up in the air because I was running late and didn't pack.

B: 2 strips of bacon and a fried egg from the cafeteria

L: Based on the choices in the cafeteria, it will probably be protein from the salad bar.

D: Sadly, also undecided.

Weight today is 181 - so close to the 170s!!! lol :)

Have a great day everyone.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
