6 Month Surgiversary w/pics

Today marks my 6 month surgiversary. I believe this is the best decision I have ever made.

I started out in a size 32 pants and now I am wearing a belted size 16 (can't quite wear 14's but really close). I was wearing 4X - 5X in shirts, now I'm in X-large (some larges depending on brand).

I lost 84.8 pounds in the 6 1/2 months it took to qualify for insurance coverage. I have lost 90.6 pounds since surgery.

I feel amazing. I have so much energy, I feel like I'm always doing something as opposed to sitting on the couch all the time a year or so ago. I can't even count all of the NSV I have had. Life is amazing!!!

Edited to add: I just realized that I am only 9.5 pounds away from being half the woman I used to be :)

Today's picture:

Picture taken a month or so prior to starting the process for insurance coverage for surgery. I'm sure I gained weight from this picture to the start of my journey.

This bottom picture was taken two weeks ago. I'm holding the pants I was wearing when I started my insurance process.

I know that pictures were very inspiring to me when I found this site, I hope that these pictures will inspire someone to decide to go ahead with surgery - I am so glad that I did!!!

Thanks so much!! It is actually 12 months of losing weight tho...it's 6 months of losing after surgery, but 6 months prior to surgery too.
