Having trouble finding things to eat

Yes, it's pretty normal.

I also wanted to add that just because you are allowed to eat something, doesn't mean your pouch is ready to eat something. Deli meat was a no-go for MONTHS after surgery for me, for example. Tuna was my mortal enemy, too -- yet I could eat steak with no problem! WTH?

When something doesn't work/makes you feel sick -- wait two weeks and try again in a smaller portion -- when you know you don't have to go anywhere.

IF shakes are making you feel sick, I would question if you don't have some lactose intolerance or a reaction to an artificial sweetener in them. Both are very common right after surgery.

I will be 14 years post op next week and I still wish we didn't have to eat. I don't have a variety. Right now I am on a poached egg kick. I ate baby food with meat early out
