Two months from revision with questions.
I pretty much just eat meat and cheeses. Cheeses do not bother me. It is boring. Yogurt does not bother me. I eat very small servings of fruit or vegetable or grains.
Another thing to check is if you are taking chewable vitamins or calcium. They often have sugar alcohol in them and you have to read the label carefully. There are many products that say "sweetened with Splenda". You think those are OK, but the label will have things like sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol. Sugarless gum and mints will also cause lots of gas.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
it does get better.
have you tried the carbmaster products at kroger? milk, yogurt etc. it is like fairlife, ultra filtered and has the special lactazy enzyme in it. super cheap also, .40 per yogurt.
gassyness is usually caused by your food choices. so if i eat fiber, I poot. If I eat too many veg, I poot. if i have dairy, I poot. sugar alchohols- I writhe around on the floor for hours....

Hi,
I am guessing its my vitamins. The Bariactiv vitamins were free with my Nascobal nasal B-12 spray. If I have to give up cheese , I will be a very unhappy girl. :(

I had a little of this and it resolved on it's own. Not 4 or 5 times a day, but I had been going every two days and after surgery it was two or three times a day. I'm back to every couple of days now...

I agree with Hala. It sounds like CIBO. The bad smell is a big sign of it.
In addition to her suggestions you may want to check out probiotics, or just make sure you get yogurt with live cultures in order to repopulate your gut with good bacteria to help get rid of the bad bacteria you are experiencing.
If it's really severe you may need to ask your doctor about Flagyl. It is the big guns but it should get rid of the bacterial overgrowth. Just make sure you get plenty of probiotics to keep them gone.

Hi, I ordered Devrom. I will also start taking a probiotic. Don't think its any kind of infection. Today is much better than a couple of days ago. I started taking Lactaid before any lactose. It may also be the veggies I am eating. I have not eliminated the vitamins yet as I am waiting on a shipment of regular vits not chewables which contain the bad sugar alcohols.
