Good morning all.... Daisy thank you for having been our fearless leader starter for the last year but you better not be going away because I would miss your wit, stories and doggie pictures... Just saying... Janet I certainly understand your hesitation but if you are up for the challenge try starting us out and if you want to step back just tell us and we will understand right family?????

Thinking of everyone who experienced Irma this past weekend... I got totally sucked into watching the coverage on CNN especially after seeing all the twitter comments about Chris Cuomo and Anderson Cooper oh my...

Today just another Monday except I have Tuesday and Wednesday off... YIPEE....

QOTD: I think my best job was my first job I worked at a miniature golf course and driving range and it was for this sweetest little old man who just recently passed away at the age of 95 but even back then he was in his 60's and he made the job so much fun. I was only 15 and he would be like hey see those cute boys go talk to them or oh go pick up golf balls but don't get hit I don't want your dad yelling at me.... But everyday was great and never felt like work with him. Even when I was older whenever I saw him he always talked about that summer which was great.

My food for the day"

B: Coffee with premier and bacon

L: meatballs

D: taco meat

S: yogurt

Have a great day everyone...

Ugh, that storm had me on edge all day yesterday! Thankfully, I THINK my dad and stepmom did OK... I haven't heard form them since about 8:30 last night, but I think that's because they were exhausted and fell asleep.

Good Morning! Thank you for starting the thread. I have appreciated Daisy's (and those prior) commitment to start us up each morning. Being a west coaster- I wouldn't be able to start the thread early enough.

For the most part we had a relaxing weekend until late yesterday afternoon when I had to take Em to urgent care. She was giving Ruppert a kiss on his nose and somehow he nipped her a little just right and split her lip a bit. Luckily it only required one stitch but since it was only 1 stitch the dr decided not to num*****e said either way it would be 1 poke). She was a tough cookie!

Accountability: I have still been eating extra things in the evening to combat the nausea. I have my 3 year follow up appt with my surgeon tomorrow so hopefully we can decide on an action plan.

Time since surgery: 3 years 1 month

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Homemade Greek yogurt with blueberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, and Buddig chicken, small banana and SF popsicle when I get home

D: Top sirloin steak (4 oz), ½ a baked sweet potato with butter, edamame and SF pudding made with Fairlife topped with cool-whip

E: 1 hour stair-climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1077 Protein:109 Carbs:99 Fat:31

Have a great one!
