What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
morning weekenders!
Thanks for sharing all your tips yesterday!
Today we're off to break a Guinness record for largest scavenger hunt. It's a Canada 150 theme, so excited.
its something I would have made excuses to not participate in a year ago. We'll be running all over the downtown core for 3 hours. No way I could have done that pre op!
Another NSV yesterday, we were on a brewery tour, and the bus we took was a school bus. And my husband and I shared a seat. Amazing. Same with taking the regular bus home after the football game. Public transportation used to cause me so much anxiety. Now it was a no brainer. ( well, except I was cold and tired and kinda hinted that maybe we could just uber home hahaha)
qotd: do you follow sports? Or have a team? Im not into many sports at all, but I like watching baseball live. And I've been to three football games now. They are fun. I'm not really into the sport much, but I enjoy the vibe.
Dont tell the other Canadians, but I'm only meh about hockey. I like it on tv, but often find the crowds at the games too aggressive.
im going to my first college basketball game in November in Syracuse, and I'm excited about that!
id like to get to one of the big car races in the states at some point too!
Accountability: yesterday there was some beer. It was a 2% raddler on the tour. It fit in my carbs for the day, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Alcohol isn't something I'm really looking to introduce, but there you have it. Not a great decision.
menu:
B: coffee and premier
L/D: no idea what's happening with the scavenger hunt and my sister might be hosting family dinner. But I'm packing a protein bar, and anything else will be protein forward.
happy Sunday everyone!

Good morning weekenders! It is another sunny and mild day here and I hope to get in a long walk later on this morning.
The scavenger hunt sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy yourself.
QOTD: I'm not much of a sports fan. I enjoy watching soccer sometimes, but other than that I don't really follow sports. I've gone to some local baseball games, but I get bored and the seats were awful.
Accountability: I shared some blueberry pancakes with my wife yesterday. It was one of the first times that I'd had anything bread-like since surgery. I only had about half a pancake, but I felt bloated for several hours afterward. It will be quite a while before I try them again that's for sure.

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage

Good morning! I'm very worried about Florida and praying for everyone who couldn't get out.
Here in New England we have beautiful weather! DD surprised us with a visit last night (picture with DH and DD below).
QOTD: I don't really follow any sport teams much (except when a New England team is in the World Series, etc). As you can see in the picture, DD is a die-hard Bruins fan. I do enjoy a live game and miss the days when we would watch our kids play sports.
