You will do great. I understand how hard it is when you husband cant get time off. Mine was there the day of surgery, but that was it. Thankfully I have my son so he was there when my husband wasn't and took me home. The what ifs where in my head until I was at the hospital laying in the bed. Once there I was at peace with my decision. Best of luck and praying for a speedy recovery.

No words of inspiration here other than don't let the anxiety overwhelm you! I also did not have family and had to go to another state to have surgery. It was scary but once you get past this, you will be home in your comfort zone.
