pureed stage
Each program is different, I went from liquids to pureed after a week, but it's always best to follow your specific program's instructions. Good luck with everything!
It was two weeks for me too. I had to see the surgeon before I could switch to puréed. Good luck and hang in there.
BTW, I don't think chili is in the puréed section (at least not for me). I didn't get to have chili until I was past the purée and in "chewable" fase. But each program is different.

Follow your program guidelines. You chose your program for a reason, stick to it. Two weeks is a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of your life. Speeding up the plan because your head is craving something is not a good way to start. If you give in to head hunger so easily now, what happens next time and the time after that?
If your paperwork says 14 days, go 16 days.
Seriously. We all got to where we are by letting food control us. It will never be easier to take control back from food than it is right now. And you really, really need to know that you are in charge, not food.
Seriously. Dig in and stick it out.

Every stage is frustrating. When you get to pureed, then you'll be jonesing for the soft food, and on and on. As Grim said, it's time for you to take control. We've all had to go through the stages. Stay the course, do as your plan says, hang in there. Just think how lucky you are...a lot of people have 2 weeks of clear liquids after surgery, at least you get full liquids!
