You look fabulous!! You have done really well.
just a drive-by for now because I have a desk shift in a half hour - and I'm at a coffee shop right now...
went to the doctor's yesterday because i've had dull stomach pains for the last week. She thought it sounded like an ulcer, but she ran some blood tests to test for possible issues with gall bladder or pancreas. Those values were normal, but my liver values were up. She said not enough to cause concern, but still, up. I searched this site (OH) last night and sounds like that's not uncommon, esp during rapid weight loss (although I've been in maintenance for six months...). She said we'd run some more tests if I don't start getting better - but she's still thinking ulcer, so I'm back on omeprazole plus I've added Mylanta (which coats your stomach)
QOTD: I guess I'm not very creative. Lately, I haven't had time to do anything other than work, exercise (when I do..), and do all this crap for this organization I'm on the board of (I currently hold three positions and end up picking up the slack for other board members on top of that - this is awful!!). But I'm thinking of retiring next summer, so I need to find some things to fill my time. I get bored pretty quickly without at least some structure - so maybe I'll come up with something creative to do...
2 years 3 months out
B: homemade greek yogurt, blueberries & raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, peach melba protein shake (forgot to put Miralax in it - dammit!)
L: egg salad on a FlatOut FoldIt
D: meeting friends for dinner - this place is pretty expensive, so I'll order an appetizer or salad - good for my weight and my wallet....
My liver enzymes have been slightly elevated for a year.

Just a note on your stomach pain - don't forget the "old" stomach is often the source of post RNY ulcers. Taking a coating agent won't help the one no longer connected, but the acid pump inhibitors will. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Happy Friday! Why do short weeks feel so long??
QOTD: I used to paint and draw all the time, but I dont have the space to get all my painting stuff out. I hope to have a hobby room when we move into a bigger place. Lately, I do my nails for creativity/relaxation. Sometimes I paint designs, sometimes I use Jamberry wraps. Today I have on a "Pumpkin Spice Latte" mani.
On track yesterday, and the scale is down. YAY. I've lost the pounds I put on last weekend.
today's menu:
Breakfast: coffee with pumpkin spice creamer, Greek L&F that I've been toting around in my lunchbag for 3 days and not eating, and 2 pieces of dry toast afterward, metformin upsetting my tummy
lunch: tuna packet, celery sticks with PB
Snack: cottage cheese
dinner: ?
