What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Good Friday to you menu folks! We've made it to Friday again and the thread is open for your photos. I only have pics from my surgeon's appointment last week, but post whatever inspires you! We love to see your pictures!
As most of you know, I love to go to my deep water aerobics class. We were off for 2 weeks while the pool was cleaned and rehab'ed and I was missing my pool time. I thought that class restarted this week, so I went to the pool last evening ready for class. I got there and found out that class doesn't start until next week. Boo hiss! I went ahead and did some laps anyway, but I really miss the class and seeing my fellow swimmers. Oh well, back in the routine again.
QOTD: I value the time in my week when I can do something creative. Since surgery, I have started painting again, and while I'm not good, the experience is lots of fun! I also love to knit, crochet and spin. What creative outlets to you have? Do you do something for pleasure that brightens your day and add value to your life? I think that my creative time is particularly important to me because I don't have that element in my job and I need to see some inspiration to feel fulfilled.

Good Morning Janet and Menu Family!
QOTD: I was an art major and specialized in watercolor painting. I haven't done any paintings for several years and need to get back to painting. Here is an example of one of my watercolor paintings. I also like other arts and crafts and creative outlets.
My other picture is of Tippy cuddling with me. It's not a good picture of me, (my hair is messy and I don't have any make-up on), but she was so sweet snuggled up to me. (Yes, Tippy needs to go on a diet ... LOL!)
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 70, Calories - 955, Carbs - 69.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: hamburger with melted cheese
D: Not sure yet, need to go to the store
S: light & fit Greek yogurt, prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
E: Still not able to take the dogs for a walk - stupid back pain. Going to Walmart today so I hope I'll be able to manage to walk around Walmart without too much pain.
Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!
~ Karen
I love your watercolor! And Tippy is a sweetheart!
