5 Months Out fun stats on my RNY results

I was going through MFP and my Samsung stats today and capturing the data I thought was most relevant to my progress, and I thought I'd share...

First is the weight loss per MFP which I don't update daily but it's still kinda cool!

Here are my calories (clearly I'm not ACTUALLY logging every single day!)

And my protein

But here is the really good news! My BP which was high even on medication prior to surgery-

And my resting pulse-

My steps aren't nearly as impressive since I get very few on the average weekend...

I've been focusing as much on exercise as I have on calories - and at the end of July started swimming laps in addition to riding my bike to work a couple of days a week. I think that the exercise has a lot to do with the drop in my resting pulse, and probably about half the reason my BP has dropped so low.

I need to take my measurements again this month but they haven't tracked well as I'm clearly bad at it (is my neck really going up and down in size?). I can see my measurements in the cloths at fit fine one day then look silly the next. I think my suit jackets are the oddest change because all of the sudden a size that fit fine the week before is hanging off my shoulders like floppy ears on a dog!

I'm over half way to my personal goal. The weight isn't dropping as quickly as I'd like it to, but then again I'm eating a ton more than many vets on here would ever recommend... I'm also building muscle per the body scan -and that will slow the scale down a little.

Hi,

Cool! I have tons of technology available to me but I still do a food log on my desktop. I have been horrible about exercise and need to change that!!

I didn't start exercising until I had lost a lot of weight.. January of this year, 7 months after surgery. When I did, I started stalling and that really messed with my head. Now I exercise in fits... But Everytime it slowed my progress... So it messes with my head.

But I've never loved working out... Not sure I ever will, really.

Love this! Technology (and data analysis) are my thing! I have a graph of weight and calories so I can see the trends. Using my data, I had figured out that I needed 1100-1300 calories (on average) to maintain. I had an RMR test recently and it confirmed that this is the proper calorie range (I have to admit that I was hoping it would say I could have more).

Edited to add: I thought you might get a kick out of what maintenance looks like:
