Little lump in Throat

Recently I've noticed that when I first wake up or when I'm thirsty, I get this lump in my lower throat. It doesn't hurt, just feels strange. Typically once I start drinking it goes away.

Is this just my body's way of telling me to get my fluids? Has this happened to you?

I had that for a good month but it was right after my surgery.

Hmm. Maybe it's because 3 weeks ago I got my stoma stretched? Hopefully it passes! My anxiety is screaming "it's another stricture!" But I'm hoping I'm just a little overly aware of any change and that hopefully it's nothing.

We're at our most dehydrated in the morning after "fasting" through the night.

Hmm that makes sense. Here's hoping that's what it is.

that can be a symptom ad acid reflux. Are you taking a PPI?

no. A PPI is like Nexium.
