What's on your menu (Thursday) RNYers?

I know quite a few Ducks fans. Team spirit for college football is pretty awesome! I really like all the side stuff like watching the fans, the die-hard tailgating and the school bands, but prefer watching the pro's play.

Good morning All. I am up early because I have an early flight tomorrow on Southwest Airlines and I had to do that crazy 24 hour advance check in thing. I hate Southwest.
The good news is that I am going for a long weekend in Vegas with friends. Should be big fun. I rented a pool cabana for Sunday, and I plan to spend the day laying in the sun like a lizard on a rock.
It is only suppose to be 82 degrees here today, which is a dramatic cool down from all of the hot weather we've been having. Hopefully the air quality will be better, and I can get rid of this low level smoke headache.
A mani-pedi, laundry and packing is on the schedule for today. I also have a ton of tomatoes that need attention. Probably a batch of sauce.
Accountability: Ugh! I did fine all day, and then I went over to friends' house for dinner and they ordered pizza. Pizza! I consider it a win that I didn't hit them over the head, grab the pizza and sit in a corner shoveling it into my mouth and growling at any one that got too close.
Plus, third bite in, the darn thing got stuck. It was the RNY gods reminding me who is in charge. I am hoping I have learned my lesson once and for all where pizza is concerned.
QOTD: My favorite cuisine is Asian in general, and Vietnamese in particular. I love the complex flavors, but negotiating around the rice noodles is a challenge. My favorite cuisine to cook is Italian. I love that it only takes a few, excellent ingredients to make a delicious dish, and it is so much more than pasta.
2 years, 10 months post op:

S: chicken leg
L: turkey burger, tbsp Greek yogurt guacamole

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, menu family! The week is almost over. No plans for the weekend except for getting the house in shape. I fly out to Houston next Friday. Please pray or swing chickens my way for that trip. I am not looking forward to seeing all of the devastation.
QOTD: Since divorce (pending), I have created a bucket list. On that bucket list, sushi. It's my new favorite ethnic food. I only treat myself to it every once in a while, but I sure do love it!
9 months, one week post-op; Weight 174 this morning (first small goal met since being back on track!)
Here's the plan for today:
B: Protein Shake
S: Sausage patty, cheese
L: Boiled egg, okra
S: Cheese, PB2
D: Salami rounds (not the best choice, but I'm gathering things for the new house and grabbed a quick protein)
S: Boiled egg
Cal: 964, Carb 22, Protein 81
Lots of coffee and at least 80 oz water throughout the day!
Have a great day, everyone, and make good choices!

QOTD:
Love me some Indian food. Not that I'm a vegetarian but there's a lot of great Indian veggie dishes. I even buy Trader Joe's Indian entrees which are super cheap compared to what a restaurant charges.
Im trying to replace white rice with another suitable carb. I'm not so much worried about carbs as I am about RH. I do believe the absorption rate plays a role.
Have you tried riced cauliflower? It substitutes well for rice or pasta for me.
