Hi, I really am not expecting a reply but I am trying to hold myself accountable to myself, family, and internet strangers ;-). I had Rny almost 5 years ago (11/2012). I got pregnant less than a year out, had my daughter, and got pregnant again before she turned 1. I now have a 3 year old and a 19 month old. It's time. I originally lost 135 lbs but since that time I have managed to keep off about half. I need to use the tool I was blessed to receive and bring myself back to better health.

What I will be doing is: pouch reset, taking my vitamins, treadmill, and getting labs done in a few months to see where I may be deficient- insurance doesn't cover much so I have to save up the $.

Congratulations on having your babies! and also on keeping so much of your loss off! Good job. Your tool will still work and your plan sounds like a great beginning!... my only suggestion is to write everything down in a notebook...everyday...do you read the daily menu thread for rny..Lots of ideas and great advice. Best wishes on your new journey.

So, having two babies so close in age alone is enough to derail the best of us!

Accountability is good. Glad to see you here. Join in on the menu posts, they help me a lot.

Congrats on keeping a good chunk of the weight off! And congrats on having two beautiful babies. I'm pre-op and will most likely have RNY, and plan on babies after. I may try to keep in touch if you don't mind me picking your brain a little bit about pregnancy post-RNY? I know there's a forum, but it's not super active.

I check and post on the daily menu thread every day, I find it's a really great way to be accountable and see what others are eating at various stages of loss/maintenance. I'm trying to make healthier habits pre-op in hopes those habits will help me be successful post-op. Maybe give that a try?

I plan on it! It's been four years since I was last logged in here but it doesn't seem as though much as changed. Thank you! RnY was well worth it, I just need to work it again. Good luck with your surgery!
