Low Copper--9 month bloodwork
All my blood work came back fine except for my Copper level. I take a multi (Natures Way Alive! Women's Energy) with 2mg Copper included but it's still low. So now I'm taking 2mg Copper supplement with a meal.
Could this just be a fluke? I'm a bit tired and always cold, even before RNY. I know Copper can get low after RNY. How dangerous is this? I did a Google and I want to make sure I don't OD on the Copper.
My checkup went well yesterday. I've lost 138% of my excess weight. I saw the doctor and the NUT. I'm adding in food to start maintenance. Trying avocado tomorrow. I'm down to 135 and don't want to go below 130.
All suggestions are welcome.

For whatever reason this is one of the deficiencies we are susceptible to. I doubt you were deficient pre-surgery they would have picked it up on bloodwork.
I wouldn't panic, just do what you need to do and make sure you get follow up testing to check levels.
