What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNY'ers?
Post Op 16-1/2 mos
Good morning menu Gang! Happy Hump Day. LindaM congrats on the new grand baby, precious I'm sure!
Didn't sleep worth a darn last night, tossing and turning. Hence up a little extra early today so I took my coffee out to the hottub. So peaceful, although a little chilly getting in and out! Went early to the gym to get some extra cardio because I will forgo my lunchtime walk. We did 6.3 kms yesterday, and my walking partner doesn't like to do 2 days in a row!
Someone feel free to add a QOTD.

What kind of lettuce do you use for your tuna lettuce wraps? How do you store it? Are you packing lunches?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I usually use romaine hearts. Yes, I pack a lunch every day...I pull about 4-5 leaves off the romaine heart(?), rinse them and wrap them in a paper towel and put in a ziploc baggy. I mix a can of albacore tuna with plain mustard and at lunch time I spoon some of the tuna/mustard on the lettuce leaf and chow down.
Good Morning Ginny and Menu Family,
Okay, so we need a QOTD: Do you know what your name (first or last name) means and does the meaning fit you? My first name, Karen, means Pure and I'd like to think it sort of fits me as I am a good-hearted, honest person. My last name, Helleberg means City of Light and I don't know that it fits me much because I'm more a small town girl and don't like big cities.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 85, Calories - 905, Carbs - 62.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

E: my back is a little better, but I don't think I'm up to walking the dogs yet.
Have a great day everyone!

It's Wednesday... I'm having a hard time convincing myself of that, so I guess it'll just surprise me at some point when it's actually Friday?
Last night we had to put our big ol mule down... he was declining, and we decided he'd not make it through the winter. So Sad!!! RIP Bruce Mane the Bat-Mule!
Accountability: I did well yesterday! Yay!
Weight this morning 139.4, almost 16 months out
So I left my food at home this morning... Boooooo! I do have a leftover cheeseburger in the fridge here, so I'll have 1/2 of it for breakfast, and half for a snack. 2.5 ounces each. I guess I'll order up some wings from Buffalo Wild Wings... they are just next door to where I work out, so I can pick them up after. I threw a roast in the slow cooker for dinner, going to shred it and make home made sloppy joe mix! I'll have it sans the bun, of course.
I'm going riding tonight with a friend after work... I need to go enjoy this beautiful weather outside, and she has several acres across the street from her house that a farmer lets her ride on... obviously I won't be on Bruce though... I'm using one of her horses. Looking forward to it!
