Hectic and stressful here today with an overwhelming work load. But at least it has cooled down into the low to mid-80s, with last week's 100-degree weather hopefully a thing of the past for 2017!

I enjoy most music, ranging from classical to folk and classic rock. Not fond of rap or heavy metal. A while ago I decided to learn a little bit about opera, beyond the scant few performances I'd attended through the years. That's been surprisingly un-stuffy and fun. I have also been listening to a lot of Al Green! When driving I like listening to NPR or what I have on my phone. I really like to listen to Audible books while doing some phases of my work, and Audible books are great for very long car trips as well. For cleaning house I like classic rock best, plus songs I remember from when I was a kid like old Motown, etc.

First: Black tea w/ cinnamon protein powder

B: Greek yogurt w/ 1/2 serving vanilla protein powder mixed inI

L: 1.6 oz. Ham off the bone with 0.4 oz. Cheddar

D: 1.6 oz. Black pepper turkey/ 0.4 oz. cheddar

S: Crystal Light frozen popsicless

Water, water, water!

I gained 0.8 of a pound the day before yesterday, though nothing I ate was at all off plan or excessive. Yesterday I was slightly down from that odd jump up (-0.2 lbs), and today my weight is the same as yesterday. Yesterday for the first time in my life I used a laxative (Miralax), as I thought maybe that was the reason I gained. I did experience a result both last night and this morning, after not having gone for a few days. I guess it is normal to have these minor fluctuations, and will just keep on keeping on. My 3-month surgiversary will be on 9/12, I am hopeful to see some encouraging movement down the scale by then.

Wishing everybody a lovely day!I

Edited for weird typos. It's my glitchy tablet's fault.

I really love Al Green and all the old Motown stuff, too. I like it more now than when it was popular!
