Happy Monday... ahem... Tuesday.
Still feels like a Monday!
QOTD: I listen to a Top 40 radio station in my car. I'm not much of a button pusher, and once I find a station I like, I listen even through the commercials. I do have other stations programmed in my car, and will occasionally switch it up to the classic stations, but I can't find a station that plays a good mix of the things I love from the '80's , and I'm not a huge fan of the 70's for some reason.
Accountability: I had a HORRIBLE weekend food/drink wise... we had my husband's 50th birthday party this weekend, and there were carb fests going on for days... Today is RESET. No more crap for a while! Must get the number on the scale where I want it!
B: 2.5 ounces of steak
S: 2.5 ounces of a cheeseburger/ no bun just meat and cheese
L: 2.5 ounces of steak
S: 2.5 ounces of cheeseburger/ no bun just meat and cheese
D: Not sure, hubby is home today so he's cooking, but I'll just be having the meat and maybe some veggie depending on what he makes
Weight this morning 142.2. That's way up for my comfort zone! But not a surprise, and I'm just going to reset and not stress.

Good morning, menu crew! Today is my get stuff done day after a long weekend of relaxing with hubby. It will feel so good to get it all taken care of but the last three days have turned me into a lazy person so it's going to be hard to motivate myself to stay on task haha.
accountability: I did good, not over calories or carbs. However, I did not stay to plan because one of the dogs knocked my cheesy turkey cauliflower casserole off the counter... a whole week's worth of meals gone, just like that! It's my own fault, I should have put it in the fridge before running an errand. I was really looking forward to having that for meals, I was going to add pickles to it yesterday to see if I could get it to taste like a cheeseburger... Darn it!
QOTD: I love every genre of music! Everything from 1920's jazz to heavy metal. There's just too much good stuff out there to limit ourselves to only one or two types of music.
b- coffee with a splash of cream, caramel macchiato syntrax
l- ground turkey with a couple tablespoons of Kashmiri curry for flavor
d- Italian chicken sausage with red sauce, zoodles and a pinch of shredded parmesan
s- greek l&f, pickled veggies, maybe 5 raspberries with sugar free cool whip
v- patches
e- 5k on the treadmill
Have a great day everyone!!!

Turkey Cauliflower Casserole?? I'd like to hear more about that! Did you get to taste it at all??
Sorry you lost it to the dogs!

It was so good! I found the recipe online (let me know if you want me to send you the link) and I substituted a few things to make it healthier. It was basically a bunch of ground turkey, riced cauliflower, sharp cheddar, a creamy sauce made with almond flour, spices and mustard, topped with some crumbled bacon. I had to add extra turkey and cauliflower to cut down the calories and make sure it wasn't mostly cream sauce, but it was delish. I was only able to have one meal before the dogs got into it. I was so excited to come home and try adding different things to it to see if I could make it taste even more like a cheeseburger too (was thinking diced pickles and some sliced tomato on the side), it would have been so tasty. It sounds pretty pathetic, but I literally cried frustration tears when my hubby and I got home and I saw what happened. Not leaving anything on the counter while I run errands ever again, lesson learned haha!
