What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
Good morning! It was cool here yesterday too: though the temperature got up to 68 in the sun sheltered from the wind, it definitely felt like a fall day. Tomorrow we are supposed to have rain, then a beach day on Monday (yeah!).

It's very early in California, and a pleasant 70 degrees, but the forecast says 99 degrees today. Fall is absolutely my favorite season, especially October, but where I live now seasonal changes are very gentle and mild in comparison to where I lived most of my life, so October here is warm, soft and dreamy, with little to distingui**** September is simply more summer. I do miss the fierce, gorgeous blaze of the leaves and the crisp coolness that Autumn brings to more northerly climes.
Some of the places I'd like to visit or revisit, not in any particular order: Paris, France in general; Venice, Rome, Trieste, Lake Como, Italy in general; Ljubljana, Maribor, Novo Gorica, Bled, Slovenia in general; the North German Friesian Islands in the North Sea; London, The Cotswolds, England In General; Ireland in general. And many more places!
First: Strong black tea with cinnamon protein powder and a little almond/cashew milk
B: 2 oz. Greek yogurt with half a portion of cinnamon protein powder stirred in.
L: 2 oz. ham off the bone/cheddar
D: 2 oz. turkey, maybe a little yellow squash
S: Frozen Crystal Light popsicle
Water, water, water!
Good morning everyone,
I'm lots of food prep today. We have a bunch of people coming for a BBQ tomorrow even though it will be raining. We'll be eating inside I guess. I'm smoking a full packer brisket, wings and kielbasa. Last night I made a triple batch of my BBQ sauce.
QOTD: I would love to go up to Vermont, New Hampshire or to Rhode Island.
Accountability: I stayed on plan but ate fresh seafood last night which of course is salty so I'm reataing water and up 3lbs today! I'll be pounding the water today to try and flu**** out. I wish I wasn't so darn salt sensitive cause the seafood has tons of protein.
B:2eggs, turkey sausage, slice of cheese
The rest of the day is TBD but will protein forward and tons of water.
Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!

I hear ya about salt sensitivity! I'm up two pounds today - I had a bagel yesterday, some dry SF pudding added to a couple of things (it's LOADED with sodium!), fish that had been marinated in something or other (probably a lot of salt in that marinade), and some TJ's Chili Lime seasoning on my ear of corn. I figured I'd be up this morning - and I was!!!
Salty but damn delicious!
