Late today - and just a drive-by because we've been in student staff training all morning. We have a break right now, so I figured I'd better post while I have the time!
QOTD: I remember it was a Saturday night, and DH and I were out with friends. However, we didn't know about it until the next morning. DH turned on the Sunday morning news and then came charging into the bedroom shouting, "Princess Diana died!". We were shocked and were glued to the TV all day. I watched TV news & listened to the radio for about the next three days waiting for updates. It was awful - I felt like the whole world had changed. I don't know why I was so affected by it, but I was.
I don't have time to take a picture of my outfit today (although maybe after the training), but I'm wearing navy blue leggings and a long-sleeved turquoise (solid color) cotton top. Plus lots of silver jewelry.
2 years 2 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries and raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, SF pumpkin vanilla protein shake (hey - it's that time of year again!)
L: (this is stuff I picked up from the student training treat table - I ate breakfast before I came to work since I figured the stuff we had here might be too carby - yet I picked up some of the carby stuff anyway (well, a bagel anyway...) to have for lunch)
one small bagel, 2 T whipped cream cheese, 1/2 C fresh fruit topped with 2 T Silk plain yogurt, 2 T hummus
D: grilled cod, coleslaw made with sesame-miso vinaigrette
probably another yogurt if I can afford the calories
ex: yoga
Good morning! Happy Friday! Today I am feeling super frustrated - I took a two and a half week break from the scale because it was driving me nuts and I focused on keeping carbs low and getting in a ton of water etc. focused on protein and more protein.. Got on the scale today and I'm only down three pounds and it's the same three pounds that I've been volleying back and forth for the longest time. I am going to cut out all caffeine, all sugar free things and up my fiber.. I don't know what else to do. I'm ready to start pulling out the hair that hasn't already fallen out haha. Grrrr! My window of opportunity just keeps getting smaller and smaller and the more I feel that opportunity slip away the more I feel like a failure. What if I never get to my goal? I know I should just focus on how far I've come and be proud but I'm so upset that the potential for me to not get to where I want to be is such a real possibility. I hate to sound whiny but I'm just having a crappy time. Anyway, here's my post for the day:
Accountability: Stayed below my limits yesterday, had a bite of sugar free frosting (that's going in the trash as soon as I come home!)
QOTD: I'm not sure where I was. I can't believe how long ago that was. I was just a kid at the time so I don't remember that much about it. I remember everyone being really sad about it though.
B: coffee with coconut milk creamer and sf syrup (today is that last day for that from now on)
L: syntrax shake/water
D: ground turkey bowl with egg whites, shredded sharp cheddar and seasoning
S: Greek L&F, celery, almonds
V: patches
E: going to run until I puke haha.. ok, not really, but I'm going to push myself big time
