What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Good morning! Hope everyone is doing well!
Accountability: So while I've been managing the after work grazing much better, but my calories are trending on the higher end still. (I'm comfortable with up to 1100, but have been trending more towards 1500 lately.) I'm going to scale back on the fruit since t been in addition to not in place of usual meals/snacks. Making new recipes has been fun, and I'm not altering the recipes at all initially to be more adaptable for me; I'll worry about that the second time I make a recipe. My annual follow-up with my surgeon is October and I'd like to be at my comfort zone weight, right now I'm a 4#'s above it.
QOTD: I've been to both Disney World/Land, once to each. I enjoyed Disneyland and more, smaller and easier to do. I planned it well, I read about about strategies on how to approach rides so minimize wait times. It really worked.

I'll try to post when I have Internet but there will be big stretches of dry camping with no power or anything while we're at actual shoots. Lots to get done before then. mornin' All! Cooler here today, too - about 70 degrees. YAY!!
QOTD: we went to DisneyWorld the first year it opened - 1971. It was just the main part - things like Epcot Center weren't around then. When I was in Japan a few years ago, my host family wanted to take me to Tokyo Disney. I had zero interest, but I didn't want to hurt their feelings, so I pretended I didn't understand (they didn't speak much English, but I knew what they were asking). Plus I know the Disney parks here are really expensive - so I'm sure it's outrageous in Tokyo, and I didn't want them spending that kind of money on me.
2 years 2 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries and raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: cottage cheese, peach
D: either beef stew or a salad
probably another Greek yogurt or shake
ex: Aqua Zumba!
Good morning! I'm happy it's Friday eve! And a long weekend - and working from home tomorrow AND Tuesday! I'm so pleased. My kids are gearing up for back to school - It's always the Tuesday after Labour Day here- and always has been for me so I can hardly fathom school starting in August. :) It will be strange that our oldest won't be going back this year. He's taking a year off to work and save some money. He's already accepted for his program and will start next September.
It makes me sad but we have never been to any Disney park. We love amusement parks, and I would love to go with the kids sometime. But they are getting older and there are other vacations we want to do as well so we'll see.
Menu- Didn't plan well today
B- egg and bacon
L- Not sure - salad bar or entree depending on the cafeteria choices
D- Also not sure. DH, and DS1 are both working so the 3 of us will figure something out. Need to go grocery shopping as well.
Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
schools don't start until after Labor Day in Wisconsin, either. We never started until after Labor Day when I was a kid, either, even though I lived in different states then. This August thing must have started in the last 30 or so years? Not sure. But Wisconsin is still "old school"....not until after Labor Day!
