I went to Disneyland a few times back when I lived in CA the first time. Those visits were before my son was born. When he was 3, we moved back to the East coast. When he was 5 we back flew out to visit friends, and went to Disneyland for the day. Then when he was 8, I took him to Disneyworld for a week or so. We had a wonderful time, except for a terrible ride on the Space Mountain rollercoaster. My little boy sat in the rocket seat in front of me. I spent the entire ride in agonizing fear: I didn't trust that he was secure and safe in his seat and was terrified that he would fall out. Sitting behind him, I had a terrible choice: hold onto him and not hold onto the bar myself, thus doubly endangering him (if I didn't hold on I was in danger myself, and if I fell while holding onto him he could fall with me), or hold onto my own bar and abandon him to his fate. For me, it was an incredibly awful ride! But my kid thought it was great and wanted to go again (a big NO on that one), and of course when the ride ended we were both in one piece. Otherwise, it was a wonderful visit.
First: black tea with cinnamon protein powder and some almond/cashew milk.
B: 2 oz. Turkey breast and cheese
L: 2 oz. Greek yogurt with a half portion of vanilla protein powder
D: 2 oz. Ham off the bone/cheddar
S: SF popsicle
I always weigh out what I eat, but frequently am unable to finish the 2 ounce portions. I wrap what's left over, but count that leftover amount as part of the next meal's 2 ounces. So many of my meals are between 1 to 1.5 ounces rather than 2. I find that I get the signal to stop after a few bites.
Leaving to come home here at 2 pm so so so happy. I really don't like deterring from my schedule.
Food today:
egg white veg omlet
flax mufffin with a tablespoon blueberry muffin yogurt
decaf/miralax
Accountability: last night I ate an entire donut, first time since well before surgery. and yes i was not feeling well after for several hours. Sugar bread carbs, heck almost all bread carbs do me in and make me ill.
Good morning menu friends.
Accountability - I did not get all of my food in yesterday. Drank more protein powder decaf iced coffee.

Jumping on here earlier than normal (for me) because I missed getting on at all the last couple of days...had interesting couple of days
Monday- made appt w,PCP over belly button mystery, PT examined it, said didn't feel a hernia, I was so relieved... then...
on way to workshop in late afternoon in another County, have a Reactive Hypoglycemia episode while driving. Luckily I have a Kind bar in car(thank you Stacy) and had brought my dinner. Oh and the offending item that caused it I've eaten soooo many times before.
Tuesday- went to PCP- she thinks it is a small hernia, and am now the proud owner of a glucose monitor.
I have 3 votes for no hernia from professionals including my surgeon and one for. I am going for no hernia.
Yesterday spent a glorious day in Montauk #theEnd #Jaws with a friend and her family. The post storm ocean was incredibly rough but beautiful Didn't leave until 11PM... then in Southampton got a ticket for a headlight out, so guess what I get to go today.
