What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Good morning :)
Yet another interview this morning... This one is a part time retail position. Not really what I'm looking for, but would at least help pay the bills for a bit ;)
Accountability: I'm so happy with how yesterday went... DH and I met for lunch at the mall food court and I got a piece of chicken with feta. Then I had a bunless burger for dinner with a side of Greek yogurt. My plan is to do CAMAW plus nuts until the nuts are used up and then drop the nuts too.
QOTD: I rarely get mad, but it could go either way. Usually it would be a slow boil. Something would have to be pretty awful for me to get snap-mad. One example would be when I saw an in-law family member slap/smack a toddler for grabbing a paper towel.
Post-op two years and five months.
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - turkey sausage
Lunch - bunless burger
Snack - Greek yogurt with almonds
Dinner - something meaty tbd
Snack - protein shake
All water and vits.
Good morning menu crew! The day got away from me yesterday. SIL and BIL are here from PA (they came Friday) so it's another busy week.
QOTD - I think I'm somewhere in between. I know the kids say I'm the more patient of the 2 of us but When something makes me mad, I usually blow up and get over it- unless I want to make a point - but then i kind of have to work at staying mad lol. I don't do this often, and when I do it's almost always directed at DH. Charles yells pretty easy but he's over it in a flash.
Menu -
B- 1 fried egg and 2 slices of bacon
L- Leftover "pasta" from an Italian restaurant we went to- for the Canadians, it's East Side Marios. I subbed out the pasta with mushrooms, and it had bolognese sauce and cheese. I should have done it a little differently so that it had more protein, but I did meet my protein goal anyway, and it did 2 meals for me. :)
D- I think a bunless burger.
If I have calories and need protein, I will have a cafe latte shake later.

QOTD: I never get mad. I can't even remember the last time I was angry about anything. I guess if I am upset I have a tendency to cry rather than get mad.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 79, Calories - 1,030, Carbs - 115.

Good Morning! Daisy, did you finish up your work project? I am still in the middle of some changes but it's going to be that way for a bit.
Accountability: Extra yogurt and a few crackers with cottage cheese.
QOTD: I think I lean more towards the boiling over person-something I am working on.
Time since surgery: 3 years
B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Spaghetti squash casserole (mozzarella cheese, Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken and crumbled bacon) and a boiled egg with everything but the bagel seasoning
S: Homemade Greek yogurt with blueberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, 2 Brazil nuts and Buddig corned beef, carrots and SF popsicle when I get home
D: Spaghetti squash casserole, a small banana and SF vanilla pudding made with Fairlife topped with cool-whip
E: 60 mins stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track

I was up at 6:30 to take my friend to an appointment at 8. Already had my coffee. Will eat breakfast soon.
