took the day off from work to take care of my nephew today. Right now giving the dog snuggles while I wait for baby and parents to take on the day!
qotd: I'm a slow build person. It takes a lot, and I can shake off pretty quick. But once Ive reached my limit, im done. Done, done.

Good morning menu friends. Less than an hour of work and then I am off until Friday at 7 am. Then I have to work all weekend.
Accountability: Stuck with the meals that I had planned.
QOTD: I am totally flash mad. Get mad throw a fit and get over it. Neither of my parents are/were like that so I am not sure where I get it from.
Short day for me today - I have to get my blood work done for my blood thinner and then run a couple errands. I hope to be in bed by 10:30, sleep 5 hours or so and then clean house and go back to bed at a decent time so I can get my body switched back over to day shift for Friday.

Hi All, it's 7:04am as I write this and I am IN BED! Taking a sick day to try to heal up my eyes from the conjunctivitis which got a lot worse after I went to the doc and started the drops yesterday. I still need to be on email and take 3 or 4 meetings by phone today but I am also planning to binge watch the Ozarks on Netflix and I have no intention of getting dressed today :) Yay for sick days when you aren't too sick to enjoy them!
Accountability: Well I didn't really make a solid plan yesterday so it's hard to say whether I went off it, exactly. But I did have a spoonful of PB last night which is not something I usually have. Everything else was good.
QOTD: I am still holding grudges from kindergarten.
B: Chai Protein Powder mixed with Pecan Pie flavored coffee. (MMMM! I might just have 7 cups of this today and nothing else!)

L: Pulled Pork and BBQ Sauce

qotd: it takes a lot to make me mad, but I guess I kind of snap, yell, slam things, then go cry somewhere and I'm fine in about 20 minutes haha. I rarely get mad, and DH is similar, so we have a super easy-going marriage.
Yesterday I ended up getting sick after breakfast, throwing up, sweats, pounding headache, shaky, the whole works. I went home from work, and spend the morning vomiting, then took a nap for 2 hours, and woke up feeling like it never happened. I didn't eat much the rest of the day, but drank a lot of water and had a syntrax shake in the evening. Super weird and super inconvenient. I have Thursday off for my surgical consult and psych evaluation, and was already trying to work long hours to make up some time so I don't have to use much paid-time off (trying to save it for any more necessary appointments and surgery recovery time).
Today's breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with 1 oz ham and a slice of cheese
lunch: shrimp (I left my lunch bag at work, so I still have what I packed yesterday) and a string cheese
dinner: turkey meatloaf that I meant to make yesterday
