Lab results
I'm going to ask my dr's office to sed me the results prior to surgery, but here are the results from 3 and 6 months post-op. I would appreciate any feedback and thank you in advance for your time. Vitamin D and Vitamin A are still pending.

B12 is low, and dropping. I want mine a lot higher, like 1500 high. B12 can drop really fast in between labs.TH is at the high end, which likely means your body is taking calcium from your bones for other, more essential functions. I would increase calcium citrate, and get a DEXA scan for reference, if you haven't had one lately.
Most important, your ferritin is dropping like a lead balloon. It's still fine, but a drop that much, that fast, means you could end up in big trouble. I would start supplementing a bunch more iron if that were me.

Thanks. Last time they said the ferritin was too high and were concerned about my liver. But I am worried about how much it has dropped. I will increase my supplements based on what you've said. Thanks for the advice.

I do have my follow up booked for 2 weeks time. However, I also wanted to check with the veterans. I have learned that many of the vets on here have taken a lot of time to learn about what these numbers mean. I also have a friend who goes to the same centre as me and her ferritin level dropped dangerously low before anything was done.
I'm very glad to have so many knowledgeable people on here to provide guidance.

sometimes inflammation can cause elevated ferritin. 3 months post op - that may have been the case.
if not - losing so much iron in such a short time is scary. I hope they plan a follow up test on ferritin in 3 months. I would ask for it.
B12 - as others said - it is dangerously low. I start feeling "low" when my B12 gets below 800.
