I haven't had grilled shrimp in while and have been really craving it. Maybe this week or next I put a bunch on the grill.

QOTD: made some excellent friends and had some great meet ups here also!

Last night was actually pretty good, I ate carrots and some dill pickles. huge improvement. Granite people back today to finish up then realtor is coming after work at 5:30. DH i mad dashing today to stage house and finish up nit pick stuff. He is an interior designer so this is his realm. I'm staying out of his way!

today will be another crap shoot as far as food is concerned due to people being in the house.

Gizzards in micro

gizzards again

burger for lunch- (going to stop and cook 2 up for us to eat after granite people leave)

dinner is open with realtor being here

made gelatin concoction with apple spice cottage cheese that I've been having for snack, 140 cal. it is a gelatin package with ho****er to melt it, then add in yogurt/cottage cheese etc for seasonings and let it setup.

Accountability:

weight is still 5 pounds up from pre surgery weight. Surgeon says to keep calories at 1200 which with my night time eating has been more so explains why scale is NOT moving. So I can either be super strict with calories and evening eating or I can stay where I am. I'm under my orig goal weight but not happy with the number so onward and upward moving so they say. yesterday's eating was ok, i did eat some pecans (the last of them)

well I thought I finally slept well last night but no - Fitbit says 5 hours, 14 minutes. WTF?? I keep waiting for a crash night, but so far, it hasn't happened. Looking forward to another day of dragging because I DIDN'T GET ENOUGH SLEEP AGAIN!! Aarrrgghhh...

QOTD: No. I had no idea it would be like this. Especially this particular thread - I'm so glad I started hanging out here!! I feel like I know so many of you personally, and not just your WLS side. I know many personal stories, too - just as if I knew you IRL! And the support has been fabulous. I'm quite sure I would not be at a normal BMI today if it wasn't for this group. Coming here every day and posting my menu keeps me focused on my plan, and there are a lot of role models here who've done what I originally thought was impossible (lost all of their excess weight) - so now I know it's possible - and now I've done it, too!

down a pound today, even though I overdid my calories a bit yesterday (by about 100 - and all healthy food - so not really a disaster). So I know I was waterlogged yesterday (sodium). Should be out of my system by tomorrow...

2 years 2 months out

B: failed yogurt made into overnight oats, fresh raspberries & blueberries

S: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax vanilla latte shake

L: 1 C cottage cheese, peach

D: Caprese salad (planned on this last night, but had something else instead)

another yogurt or protein pudding this evening if I can afford the calories

Good morning! It's Friday-eve and I actually took a sick day and will be spending most of the day on the couch. I've been feeling a little "off" with a dull headache that won't go away and last night I had 4 issues of my legs cramping up when I was sleeping (bad Charley horses) so I decided to take the day and rest.

QOTD: I never knew a site like this existed- and I'm so grateful to have found it/and you all.

Menu for today is a bit unknown but I know I'll have a SF latte here shortly and eggbeaters and sausage for breakfast. I don't know what I'll decide for the rest of the day.

exercise- I'll do my stepper at home if I feel up to it later.

Hope you all have a great day.

Thanks! I am also dealing with low iron (surgeon had me add iron supplements and I have a follow up appt next month)so I don't know if that has anything to do with the leg cramps too.

Women athletes typically can and do suffer from low iron and anemia.

If you are exercising a lot or HARD chances are you are a :1) woman athlete that 2) suffers from low iron.

I have to take carbonyl iron every other day to keep my levels up and I just work out for an hour or two every day (e.g. tae bo, HIIT, 5 mile walk..etc)

The one that vitamin lady sells. i buy my calcium and iron from her

She has had WLS just like us and seems very emotionally invested in good vitamins for those who have had WLS
