Yeah, I haven't had surgery yet, but I have taken iron in the past and it definitely does not agree with my stomach :(

You should have asked the dietician if there was a brand she recommends. I would say Gummies are not on the list, at least they weren't at my centre.

After surgery chewable vitamins for the first two months and then you can transition to regular.

I take a Prenatal Multivitamin (Kirkland Brand from Costco), sublingual B12 every other day, and 4 Calcium/D3 pills a day. I'm 16 mos post op.

I purchased a Tespo - it's a lot like a Keurig but for vitamins. They provide a gastric bypass pod as well as several others. Go to gettespo.com if you'd like to check it out. We love it! It's only a small amount of liquid so it goes down easily. Don't pay full price - google Tespo and you'll end up finding a coupon for 20% off I believe and if you are patient they offer deals as low as $59 for the machine fairly often.
