What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
I second what Mandi said. The key to keeping the eating under control is measuring and weighing and logging. I sometimes want to rebel against it, but then I get too full and regret eating more than I should. Head hunger is a reminder that hunger can be alot more complex for some of us than just feeding our bodies what they need. Stick with the basics and you will be successful!

Hi Nance, My hunger is just starting to come back as well. I do still get full quickly but I get hungry or at least the urge to eat to eat sooner. I have taken Grim's advice and really upped my water intake. I am trying to get between 150oz & 200oz a day. That has really helped me. Also what others have said about using baby utensils has been very helpful to me on big sleeve/pouch days. It really slows things down. As others have said eating the dense protein will help to satisfy longer as well.

Hi folks!
Yesterday morning, here on the central coast of California, the sky was overcast with a thick, foggy marine layer. I was outside hoping to see our 65% eclipse, but the clouds didn't part. Nevertheless, the air was cool, and it was uncharacteristically silent - no birdsong at all. To me everything took on an otherworldly quality, hard to describe, as if we were under a crystal bell jar.
QOTD: Millions, Memoirs of a Geisha, Love Actually, It's a Wonderful Life. These are just a few, there are many more which are special to me. I love many old movies from the 1940s and 50s, as well.
First: strong black/rooibos tea blend, with Vanilla PP
B: 2 oz. ham/cheddar (always shared with the cats!)
L: 2 oz. Refried beans/cheddar
D: same as lunch
I need to be better about my water intake! Will focus on that today. Glad I'm out of popsicles. They are the only food item I have reached for as a snack, and even though they're not really that good I can sometimes have too many. I think it's because I need more water! So I am going to be more conscientious about drinking enough, and not buy more popsicles for a while.
