Morning all,

Busy day planned here, major housecleaning and decluttering, and the back yard needs serious work. There is a pile of bags of old lawn trimmings and branches that needs to be hauled away, and the whole thing needs sprucing up. I've done some work on it but have asked a guy to come to give me an estimate on doing the rest, and the hauling. Plus I have some products to make, and some orders to fill.

I don't really have any new projects at the moment, I am feeling quite stressed and pressured. I hope things will calm down soon. I want to open a new Etsy shop but preparing everything for that will require a calmer period of time.

First: Vanilla PP drink

B: 2 oz. cottage cheese and hummus

L: 1.5 oz. Ham, .5 oz cheddar

D: probably a repeat of lunch

Maybe another PP drink

SF Popsicle

Quick post before I head up to church to prep for coffee hour and run thru music. Also need to help hubby cook chicken as he's doing the meat for the potluck we're having after church. Then we finish clean up for that we're heading off to camp at the World Shooting Complex in Sparta Illinois for the Eclipse. Staying tonight and Monday night then back home. Accountability great yesterday with no extra bites. Lily and I did our one mile walk this am and will do our longer one this evening. Had a bunch to carry out this morning as we were packing last night to camp and lost power to the frig. Had to carry all the food back in and wasn't sure we'd get to go but hubby and son figured it out and got it fixed. No new hobbies here but I need to start knotting again to keep the munchies in the evening away. Post op 4 years 11.75 months and weight is 118.6 today. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz baked chicken thigh and other weight loss surgery friendly foods at potluck D 31/2 oz gourmet sausage 1/2 c green beans S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals! See you Tuesday!

made some food substitutions yesterday but did very well - stayed under 1700 calories and my weight was down again this morning - YAY!

today I'm meeting my Turkish friend again for lunch. Trying to pack it in because she's heading home to Turkey on Tuesday. Not sure what I'm doing after that, but I'm thinking of going to an Aqua Zumba class at 5:30.

QOTD: no new hobbies, but I need to come up with some things before I retire. Sitting around on my laptop is not a particularly good use of my free time. Well, some of it is, but I'm worried after I no longer have a job to go to that I'll spend all day on here! (I don't know when I'm retiring - anywhere from this coming December to two years from now - but I need to come up with a plan before I jump ship and have some worthwhile activities in mind so I don't waste my precious time!!)

2 years 2 months out

B: homemade yogurt, raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, SF vanilla latte protein shake

L: ?? going to a cafe - probably salad or soup (or both)

D: Caprese salad, turkey slices

probably another yogurt somewhere in there

ex: Aqua Zumba

Good morning all~ We had such a wonderful day yesterday, ahhhh just lovely. Today, we are headed to the beach with the dogs a few fun errands along with the usual house stuff and weekly planning. I love my life!

Morning folks!! I've been on my run and am eating breakfast. Going to make a dinner plan for the week so I can pick up whatever ingredients I need.

I woke at 6 to have a pre-run snack; 1slice bread with peanut butter and a few grapes. I noticed I have very mild stomach upset. Unsure if its from eating something so early- or, I increased my iron intake. My ferritin is on a slow trend downward- but still normal. Hoping I can get ahead of the trend. I'm going to look into iron patches - but I'm nasty about the adhesive. I didn't react well to adhesives in the past.

Kayaking yesterday was fun. Today I need to do so thorough vacuuming and dusting.

Accountability: yesterday we ate at Red Robin. I had a burger, top bun removed. I replaced the fries with fresh fruit. Higher calories than normal- but it's not a norm for me so I'm not concerned.

Qotd: my 'hobby' at the moment is trying new recipes. I'm not at all a recipe person- I cook what I know. My my goal for fall is trying new recipes. I have a ton saved right now. I don't do bariatric recipes- that's just not prActical for my life. I cook for the family and amend what I need accordingly.

193 today, 27 months out

m1: 2 scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, sprinkle of cheese. & an Almond butter biscuit

m2: yogurt if I get to the store early enough to buy more

m3: sautéed shrimp

m4: roast chicken, veggies

I was on a downward ferritin trend as well even though I was taking iron. So I switched to the patch and I went up 12 points in about 8 weeks. I have a doc's appointment in September so am going to ask for a bloodwork again to see if it has gone up....

As far as the adhesive- try different spots.... I have to say I occasionally have a reaction- I put them on my chest overnight... (chest because I see it in the morning and don't forget to take it off :) ) it seems to be when I've been out in the sun alot that day, and may have put sunscreen on.... that seems to be the common factor. So if I remember I try to put it on my stomach those days...
