What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
morning weekenders!
yesterday we headed to my parents for a demolition job. Tore down an old deck and swimming pool. Rain held off for the most part. Also got to spend some time in the garden.
Today we're hosting some family, not sure what we'll serve yet though. I'm leaning toward just picking up burgers and sausage at the butchers.
qotd: anyone starting any new hobbies or projects?
We still have things to do around the house this year, but I think I'm going to squeeze in a fun one. My dad has this older camper/ trailer he hasn't really used much, and he said I could have it. I checked it out yesterday and it's in really good shape!
I think I'll fix it up for fun. Coffee this morning is paired with me falling down a Pinterest rabbit hole haha.
menu:
B: coffee and premier
LD: tbd on warn visitors arrive. It's all a bit in the air.
have a good one!

Good Morning. Can't believe I'm first responding. I have an early appointment. Taking a test for being a certified Teacher's assistant. I love teaching but don't have a eacher's certificate. I hve tutored over the years, taught art, as well as homeschooled my own son... I need a steady job to go with all my part-time endevours...so we will see.
QOTD: New projects: Well bought paint to paint my son's room Friday, as well as black paint to paint his furniture. He's married 6 years, has 2 kids and lives in another country. I don't think he's coming back. LOL. I was considering renting his room, and am considering selling my house...so operation declutter and get things together has commenced. :)
Food was a disaster yesterday... I didn't eat cake or anything just couldn't stop picking.
M1: Overnight oatmeal with protein powder- yogurt, 1/4c oatmeal, protein powder, chia. Had a batch of yogurt that didn't take so it's more like kefir...and this recipe worked out so well.
M2: 3ggs
M3: Grilled chicken, kale salad
M4: Mahi burger, veg tBD
S: Protein drink, peanuts, tbd
ex: gym, swim

Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!
Our town is gearing up for the Great American Solar Eclipse which is scheduled to pass through our town, however the forecast looks like it is going to be cloudy tomorrow and if so, there are going to be a lot of very disappointed people. We saw a bus load of people from Russia arrive at the Ramada in last night for the eclipse! People are coming from all over.
QOTD: I recently got several new houseplants, succulents, so I guess that is a new hobby.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 70, Calories - 865, Carbs - 59
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: Birdseye cheesy ranch chicken
D: Beef pot roast
S: Light & Fit Greek yogurt, prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a wonderful day everyone!
~ Karen

Here in Omaha, we're being told to allow for an extra 30-60 minutes on our work commutes tomorrow to allow for the influx of people coming to view the eclipse. It's bananas!
Good morning weekenders! I have already been up for a few hours and doing work. I'm grateful for some OT right now, but I would rather be lounging in bed with a cup of coffee. I won't work all day, just for a few more hours.
QOTD: In the last 2 weeks I have returned to some painting. I hadn't done any for more than a year, so it's been fun to try some new-ish things. I'm not completely satisfied with the results of my artistic adventures, but it has been fun anyway. A nice creative outlet.
Accountability: I ended up making a pot roast and mashed cauliflower for dinner last evening rather than having leftover shrimp. The calories were a bit higher, but not too bad.
Menu:
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: Kung pao chicken
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: shrimp, asparagus
Exercise: 60 minutes on the treadmill
