do your feet shrink?
Yes! My mom went from an 8 to a 6.5 when she had her WLS, and DH is down 2 sizes. It's a huge blessing because you can't just buy a size 17 in a department store!
Mine are exactly the same, as are many others. But a lot get narrower, and some shorter, or both.
It's impossible to say what yours will do. But I'd hold off on expensive shoe purchases until you're done losing.

This is something I really hope for. In 2013 when I was about 70lbs lighter I bought 6 pairs of shoes on a trip to Vegas and then got pregnant, gained a lot of weight and have never worn them! I'm not even sure I want to now since a lot are heels and having a toddler that doesn't seem practical now but I'd love to get to wear them even a bit. My feet have gotten so big with my weight gain. I'm really hoping to see some changes post op.
