Morning Protein Peeps!

QOTD: Nope to ripped jeans.... I guess if I was younger I would do distressed as Erin said, but gapping holes? No. In the late 60's/70's wearing jeans till they fell apart was in...but we patched them and did embroidery on them. Flower Power!

Did better last night with my night time eating- just forced myself to bed and white knuckled not eating extra. It wasn't really the extra calories, it's more the mental thing- I need to have some self control.

Shopper alert ** two new things I bought and liked-

P3 Protein Pack with Jerky: I have seen those P3 protein packs but they never appealed to me, and usually had dried fruit in them and needed refrigeration. I was in Target the other night and in the nut aisle they had P3 packs that were Jerky/peanuts/sunflower seeds. Ate one yesterday while on way home from shopping... and it was surprisingly filling.

TraderJoe's Healthy Chopped Vegetable Mix (fresh)- I find cooked veggies easier to eat, and if it is already chopped that is a bonus too. I am really trying to make a point of having a veggie at lunch and dinner. I just pan sauteed it with a little garlic and added salt. Very good and quick.

B: usual Latte w/fairlife/miralax/mct oil

Orange julius Protein Shake

L: Emiepie eggsalad, kale salad, avocado, 10 cherries,

D: Zoodles with garlic and parm, steak

S: Passion fruit tea w/coconut milk and SF vanilla syrup, protein bar, yogurt w/blueberries

ex: swim and PT exercise routine

So, according to the boutique lady in our little town... patches are making a comeback on jeans and jean jackets. I'm not so sure I'll be on the ride, but I could see a jean jacket with some patches making its way into my closet!

I had one of those P3 jerky packs, the exact one you described a couple of weekends ago. I loved it! My daughter loves the P3 packs that have to be refrigerated, and I get them for her, but I haven't tried one yet (the fruit makes me say no).

Why PATCH your jeans when you can scribble on yourself like DEBBIE GIBSON on the cover of her "Out of the BLUE" album. Drawing upside down and showing off one's artistic skills is 80s cool!

QOTD - I don't get it either. I'm okay with the faded styles, but the rips? Just no.
