Hi Everyone,

Noticed I am getting more emotional and tearful as of late. If I watch TV shows or the news and its an emotional moment, I get tearful. This must be the hormone dump people talk about.....Feel fine overall but still frustrated by slow weight loss. In 22 days, down a pound. UUUGH

QOTD: Dont have any pants which are stylishly with rips or tears. Its definitely an age thing since at 52, there may be clothes I have from lower weights and sizes where I will not be able to pull off "the look" :)

Planned food for the day:

Breakfast: Isopure shake and lots of decaf 25 protein 120 cal

Lunch: Tuna patties with a few bites zucchini 21 grams 140 cal

Snack: cheese stick and maybe piece of turkey 11 gram pro 90 cal

chicken meatballs with ff feta and some beans 21 grams protein/120 calories

Protein yogurt with P&B powder 15 grams protein/93 calories

Total : 72 ounces liquids, 583 calories 93 grams protein

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

QOTD: I don't have any jeans with holes or paint splatters on them and my daughter only has one pair with holes in them. Yes, I think it's a silly fad. I also think guys wearing jeans that are falling down around their hips showing their underwear looks ridiculous, too.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 85, Calories - 855, Carbs - 56. I didn't take Blossom for her walk yesterday. It was beastly hot and humid outside and also it rained several times throughout the day. But I missed going for our daily walk.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: lettuce, chicken, tomato, low cal dressing

D: beef pot roast

S: light & fit Greek yogurt, prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a great day everyone!

~ Karen

Overcast morning here in Illinois but Lily and I have our 3.6 miles in already and will do another one mile after dinner. QOTD I do have several pair distressed jeans with strategically placed rips--where no skin will pop out. Since I wear such a small size most of my clothes are things geared toward a 13 or 14 year old girl. I too am bugged by the saggy pants. I don't want you to see my underwear and I really don't want to see yours. Accountability was good as I was too busy to snack. Post op 4 years 11.75 months and weight at 118.4 today. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli ham and cheese and 4 cucumber slices D 31/2 oz smoked sausage with 1/2 c cucumber salad S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals! Later.

Good morning everyone! This is my first try at the menu thread. I am 2 months post-op so let see how this goes. I am open to all comments and advice as always :)

QOTD: I don't mind the ripped jeans, though I won't wear them. My 15 year old daughter wears them and as long as the rips aren't inappropriately placed, I am fine with it. She is a size 1, so she looks cute in them.

Accountability: I have stayed on plan. My menu doesn't actually change much day to day.

I am using my fitness pal so my totals come from that.

B: coffee w/ 1/2 of vanilla PP as creamer and the remainder of the PP with my vitamins.

S: 2 slices black forest ham and 1 slice american cheese rolled up

L: pre-packaged Costco cranberry almond chicken salad

D: 2 oz Swai marinated in poppy seed dressing. Possibly a bite or two of whatever veggie I steam with it- most likely some riced cauliflower.

E: Bodypump class (my first one!) at the gym tonight.

Calories- 475, protein- 64g

Welcome! I hope you have fun at your first Bodypump class-I have thought about going to one a few times but I really prefer my exercise in the morning and those classes are always later in the morning when I am already at work or in the evening.

Yeah I am not a morning person, so going early isn't an option for me. Evening classes it will be :)

I hope it's fun and I don't feel discouraged by my lack of strength and coordination.
