It's official- I am on the other side of my surgery and have joined the losers bench! Surgery was yesterday Aug. 14th and it went great. I took all of the advice I have been reading on this for the last 7 months and incorporated it all. What sucees! Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share your expertise. There were things the nurses didn't do and I was able to take an up front role and advocate for myself because of the knowledge that has been shared on this site!

Warmest regards,

Lisa

Congrats Lisa! Please let us know how you're doing, and if you have any advice or tips- I'm all ears!

I'm on the table in 33 days, and it's starting to freak me out. Just ordered 2oz cup thingies that someone said were really helpful during the postop period, along with a food scale. It feels overwhelming that this level of care and attention to food and eating is going to be my forever... but I still can't wait to be on the other side of surgery!

looking forward to reading more from you!

Stacie
