I don't know, that looks like a 100 calories for not that much protein. Sorry, I have to go with the protein first and lots of fluids school of thought.

I usually super happy with a 10-1 ratio of Calories to protein. That is my rule of thumb. By my thinking 95 calories for 15g of protein is epic. What types of things do you find with greater than 15-1 ratio of cal to protein? I would love to find more things that have higher ratios than that.
Meanwhile...this recipe looks awesome. I will be hunting for the powder soon.

Hi Elizabeth,
Glad you did the math! I consider myself a food scientist and I do not plan on changing that because it is a passion for me to make good food, low calories and high protein.
Admittedly its hard!. I spend a lot of time playing around with the formulas and ratios and I write down everything that goes into it. In order to keep it low, you have to avoid the temptation to enhance stuff too much ! LOL But this is much better than traditional peanut butter because they remove most of the fat giving you lots of protein for limited calories and sugar.
Today I experimented with a 4oz can of tuna. I added lemon, a dash of egg beaters, 25 calories of mayo, dijon mustard, two medium size mushroom, one very small piece of califlower riced, garlic, 1 tsp of parmesan I sprayed the pan with olive oil and made tuna patties.
Nutritionals: 25 grams for 4 oz serving of tuna cakes 152 calories Carbs per serving: less than 1
I have others I am working on. I don't ever want to feel like I am dieting especially since this is for a lifetime!

Hi Ceci,
You are incorrect . 15 grams of protein for 93 calories fits in perfectly with ratios and exceed the ratios for many protein drinks. My protein drinks with water give me 22 grams of protein and are 120 calories.

I've never added Jam, but this has been one of my favorite things since Puree. I use the Dannon L&F Greek 80 calorie yogurt and mix in 2 TBSP of PB2. That was breakfast for a looong time!
