It's been rainy here the past couple of days, but we needed it! I am ready for the mud to dry up and the pasture not to be so gross though!

Accountability: So when I went to the movies the other night, I got the kid's pack for myself. It was perfect because the bag of popcorn is more reasonable in size. Along with that came a pack of fruit gummy things and a drink. Hubby had the drink and I threw the bag of fruit chews into my purse with the intention of giving them to the kids... first mistake, apparently. Yesterday at work I was in the mood to munch... no snacks here at all... so then I remember the fruit chews. Second mistake. I look at the back and I note that there are 110 calories and 17g of sugar. OK, not great stats, but calorie-wise I'm OK (completely ignoring and justifying those sugar grams LOL That was about at 3pm. On my way home from work, around 4:45, it starts... I'm talking on the phone and I think I'm hungry... then about 10 minutes later the shakes and blurred vision the anxiety-like feeling. Full blown RH. My first time since surgery... suffice to say it was on when I walked in the house... for some reason I grabbed the Durkee fried onions (there were no chips, and I don't know why I didn't grab crackers at that point), then a protein bar, then peanut butter crackers, then almond butter... I couldn't stop until the shakes got better. I then proceeded to fall asleep on the couch for 30 minutes. Awful. There's my accountability... and it's bad and ugly!

Question though. We checked my blood sugar and it was only at 60. That's not really all that low, is it??

QOTD: I get up at 5:15 and take my thyroid pill with a glass of water. During the week I fill up a 24ounce water bottle with SF flavoring and Miralax, and I make a 24 ounce cup of coffee in a tervis tumbler and close the lid. On the way to work, I drink the water. I usually drink about 2/3 of it, purposely leaving the last part for lunch time. I drink that coffee here at work, and I usually eat breakfast between 845-915. On the weekends I sleep later and have more coffee. I don't usually eat until closer to 11:00-11:30.

Weight this morning 138.8 (no surprise it's up a bit) 15 months out tomorrow.

I brought so much protein with me today. I will leave it open as to what I eat, but here's what's with me!

Frozen 4 ounce crack chicken

Frozen 4 ounce butter chicken

8 ounces of rib meat (I was in too much of a hurry to split this up)

package of pepperoni

1/2 package of hard salami and about 3 ounces of swiss cheese

package of Spicy Dill pickle pork rinds

Dinner: Will be taco meat with the fixings... cheese and salsa

I'm going to have to go pretty much CAMAW for the next few days and get these carbs out of my system! Meat, eggs and cheese for me for a while!

I had a similar episode yesterday after work. Got a good fright as well!! Need to get these carbs out as well!! Friggers!!! :)

Yes it's that low!!! Your symptoms proved it! It seems like we all have a different low sugar point that triggers the RH reaction... not so good Pammianne! (The RH reaction is not so good... I'm not judging on the food grabs... I think that was your body panicking trying to keep you from possibly passing out)

60 is low. I'll start feeling "off"around then but won't go into full blown RH until I'm lower. My worst episode last week was 35. That one sucked.

Good Morning! Enjoy your Tuesday gym classes. The weather is great today, love when I leave the house in the morning and it feels cool instead of warm and muggy. I don't think we will hit 90 degrees today-which is odd for us in August but it is short lived and is expected to be 100 again be the end of the week.

Accountability: I need to do better after dinner.

QOTD: I don't breakfast until I have been up about 6 hours, before that it's water and my cup of coffee. I feel way more hungry in the evening too.

Time since surgery: 3 years

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: SF latte, homemade Greek yogurt with strawberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, 2 Brazil nuts and Buddig ham and SF popsicle when I get home

D: Green Chile and cheese enchilada with no tortilla, side salad with skinny girl Balsamic dressing and SF chocolate pudding made with Fairlife topped with cool-whip

E: 6 miles this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1140 Protein:124 Carbs:82 Fat:37

I hear you my friend, sometimes I feel I am a victim to the amount of exercise> need more fuel to stay energized? It sure is an evil balance at times!

Good morning. Yesterday was a holiday here so it was a long weekend for us and so nice.

Accountability: we went out to dinner twice this weekend. I did ok but you never know what is really in what you are eating so *****ally knows. A bit bloated and no loss, but no gain either. Back to the program today.

QOTD: I'm not hungry in the morning but have a lot of head hunger. I try to stave off breakfast until 9:30 (I get up at 5).
