Tough decision on the yoga. I did buy the membership for my Pilates studio, because I like the community and accountability of classes. I am much more motivated to do it. Maybe take advantage of the outdoor exercises while the good weather lasts, and then buy the yoga membership when the winter weather hits?

thats kind of what I'm thinking. I could do a few 'ad hoc' classes there if needed also- just pay outright...

I need to get better on my paddleboard and kayak while the weather is good...

Good morning all! It is rainy here today too. Maybe DSD can take DH to a museum while I WFH. Speaking of which, I calculated my days to retirement. If I only take my currently planned time off (6 days), my last work day will be 12/8/2017 (76 work days to then)

QOTD: I used to skip breakfast pre-WLS and would be ravenous by lunch. Now I drink 2 caffeinated coffees between the time I get up (between 4:30 and 5:30) and 8 when I eat breakfast. Another 2 coffees between breakfast and lunch at 12. Snack at around 2-3, dinner at 5:30 or so, and final snack around 7:30.

16.5 months post-op, 8.5 months in maintenance - 76 workdays to retirement.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: Emiepie's egg salad

D: ? (Out somewhere)

S: protein chips, Halo top ic

Yaaaaay on only needing 76 more workdays until you can retire! Does that mean you will retire then? (Ok note from the cautious part of my retired brain... one of my friends carefully estimated her retirement date(she worked at a public school) and then she retired.... during her working years she needed time off for several surgeries and chemo... the surgeries and medical time off threw her calculations off and she ended up with way less than she had planned on....just saying...

Yep! I'm definitely retiring - I decided to start a countdown! I told my boss a few weeks ago. 12/8 will be my last workday assuming I only take the 6 days off I'm planning on taking between now and then.

Good morning menu peeps. Lily and I have our 3.6 miles in and will do at least another mile as the sun goes down. It's going to be hot and humid here today in Illinois. Accountability stunk last night as I had my snack of yogurt and then some more yogurt on top of my measured amount. I stopped the feeding frenzy by going to bed. QOTD I don't wake hungry but by the time I walk with Lily I am so breakfast is as soon as we get back--about 11/2 hours after I get up. Have a ton of laundry to do today so I need to get going. Post op 4 years 11.75 months and weight at 118.4 today. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa D 31/2 oz grilled pork chops 1/2 c diced fresh tomatoes S 3/4 c cottage cheese with 1 T sugar free peach preserves. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that moveyou one step closer to your goals!
