Had my EGD today, doctor said everything looks good, he had mentioned something to my husband about having a different option of surgery instead of the RNY but he didn't understand the lingo.... I guess perks of me being in the medical field I understand the lingo but I wasnt the one who talked to the doctor. My psych evaluation is in 2 days and then everything will be ready to submit to the doctors office. Keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of this will go by fast and surgery time will be here soon....

On another note, I read in my history on facebook that it was 6 years ago this month they finally started testing me for diabetes. I thought it was 8 years ago I was diagnosed.....

One step closer :) your getting so close. My biggest suggestion to you, start sipping water or any liquid 1 oz to 1/2 oz at a time. Get yourself used to taking small sips early, saves you in the long run.
