What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers
Morning!! Ahh- Sunday. My run is done, showered and am back in bed. I'm debating breakfast. Yesterday I got a few items for the boys for school. The younger one is posing to be the indecisive challenge. If I get motivated enough I'll work in the yard a bit. And I need to script some interview questions for tomorrow.
accountabilty: Friday night I had ice cream-- but I don't feel badly about that. And it was good quality, creamy ice cream. If I'm gonna indulge it better be high quality and it was. I spilt the serving between Fri and Sat. My poor choice moment was an Auntie Anne's pretzel in the mall. Shopping with teen boys will drive you to do many things lol. I ate a little more than 1/2 when I opted to pull my head out the sand and look up the stats in MFP. It was easy to dump the rest after that.
Qotd: I'd like to squeeze in kayaking and hiking before the summer ends. I found a place but their hours suck. But I'm ready for autumn- mainly cause that'll give me an excuse to shop some more. I've exhausted all possible summer shopping!
194.5 today, 27 months out
m1: eggs, turkey sausage
m2: sautéed shrimp
m3: leftover roast or oven fried tilapia
M4: steaks, mashed sweet potatoes
5'6.5" High weight:337 Lowest weight:193/31 BMI: Goal: 195-205/31-32 BMI
I wish I had looked at the stats of the Costco cookies on MFP when I was at the shower yesterday BEFORE I ate them... it would have been a deterrent hopefully. And yes, if you are going to eat something, enjoy it and make sure it is good...
I love when you are doing interviews- you always have a good story!

Good morning :)
We are home today!! We had a good vacation but it is nice to be home and back to routine. Today will be spent trying to unpack, organize, and clean the house. Fun fun ;)
QOTD: I think we have packed more than enough into this summer. We aren't usually this busy, but work trips and weddings conspired against us lol. We have one last wedding in September. I have to go pick up my puppies from my mom's house this week so it will be one last mini vacation before I have to buckle down and find a job. Maybe I will get an offer from one of my interviews this week ;)
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - turkey sausage
Lunch - pepperette and salad
Snack - Greek yogurt
Dinner - hopefully bunless burgers
Snack - protein shake
All water and vits.
Good luck with the interviews!

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!
QOTD: I am looking forward to my brother and his family visiting from Virginia around the time of the Solar Eclipse. I don't get to see them very often since they live so far away, so this will be a real treat! Then my daughter will be returning from her trip to Ireland so I'm looking forward to seeing all her pictures and hearing all about her trip. Once she's home I hope to grill some food on the grill and have a fire in the fire pit (which can be a Fall activity, too). I love walking my dog during the Summer and am sad that this nice weather will be coming to an end. I really don't enjoy Winter but I will still get out there and walk her in the snow!
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 61, Calories - 1,185, Carbs - 133.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: chicken stir fry
D: hamburger patty with melted cheese
S: light & fit Greek yogurt
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Summer? Where have you gone? Not ready to give up the pool yet, but it hasn't been hot hot swim weather. boo.
I am trying to add some well placed 'good carbs' to my diet...more for the bathroom department. I feel the need to use too many extras to make it happen besides Miralax... and it can't be good for me. Like I always say I am a human experiment. Trying to keep close tabs on the scale during it. The last few days were a disaster between on the road snacks coming home, and yesterday's shower. Taco bar can get a hefty calorie price tag with all the 'fixin's' and I had 2 ginormous Costco cookies. They were delicious, but I looked up the calorie count on MFP later and they were 230 calories each. (oops...Ignorance is bliss) between that and the fruit I ate I got the sugar queasies.... So I am going to try and follow Karen's footsteps and add some protein oatmeal to breakfast and see if that helps.
B: Latte fairlife/mct oil/miralax 1/2c Oatmeal w/protein powder/fiber one
S: Protein bar or premier protein (at church if needed)
L: Tuna (made with combo cottage cheese/yogurt/mayo) Melt on Flat out low carb flatbread(high fiber also)
D: Grilled chicken with cesear dressing, bacon, lite mozzarella cheese. Sliced tomato
S: Yogurt and homemade SF blueberry compote and/or Protein hot chocolate
EX: Swimming
Meals are a given, and while I like to plan my snacks I consider them optional.
EDIT: I need to pay attention to my fluids I have been lacking in that department. Also think I lost my favorite shaker cup :(

I thought I bought Fiber One, but it was actually Bran buds. I had some of the worst constipation the first year after surgery...and I am afraid to let that ever happen again...I like Miralax more than Colace just because Colace gives me gas and cramps sometimes. Even Miralax everyday isn't enough... and having to take more is becoming too frequent...so I am trying to change it up. The protein oatmeal turned out disgusting actually...
