What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers
Morning everyone!
we stayed on the farm and it ended up being one of those weekends where the inn is completely full Hahahah. There seem to be people camped out in every room. So I'm still lounging in bed, but I'll soon take the dog out. Got a bit of work done in the garden between rain showers. Hope for a bit more today!
qotd: like it or not, autumn is around the corner! What are the last summer activities you want to squeeze in?
Between both of us starting new jobs, and the weather, we have taken zero camping trips. I would have loved to fit one in.
I also promised myself more picnics this year, but the weather really hasn't cooperated yet. We also have tickets to a festival in early September I'm looking forward to!
menu:
B: coffee and premiere protein
L: burgers I think
D: tbd on when we get back to the city and what we can haul out of the garden ;)
hage a good one Weekenders!

Good morning weekenders! I'm working part of today and already hard at it. The good thing is that I am able to work from home rather than having to go to the office today, and I am grateful.
I set the alarm to get up to hit the treadmill before starting work, but that didn't happen. I just couldn't convince myself to get out of bed that early on a Sunday morning. I will try to do some time over my lunch break.
QOTD: I had hoped to get in some hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway but I don't know that I will get there before Fall. Fall is nice too though. Other than that I didn't have other plans for the summer.
Accountability: I missed my protein shake snack yesterday so my protein total was a bit lower than usual. But I ate very protein forward otherwise.
Menu:
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 oz ham
Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake
Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage
Snack: 2 oz Turkey breast
Dinner: filet mignon, cauliflower
Exercise: 60 minutes on the treadmill

Good morning! We are still in New Hampshire, heading home late in the day in an attempt to avoid traffic.
QOTD: Hmmm - I'd like to go on a whale watch and over to Martha's Vineyard at some point, but on Cape Cod September is a really great month too. Our summer starts a little later than the mainland and stays a little later. September also has fewer tourists so it is easier to do things like this.
16.5 months post.op, 8.5 months in maintenance.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: ? (not sure where we will be)
S: protein bar?

Good morning menu family.... Had a great time yesterday at golf tournament! The best part was when they handed me a check for my daughter! Since the inception of the golf tournament and scholarship fund they have increased the scholarship amounts awarded and the committee decided to go back and give the receipts of the first two years additional money. Pays for most of her books this year!!!!!!!!
Today is the usual Sunday chores....
QOTD: We still need to stain the shed and deck and I am so looking forward to our trip to see our daughter in DC.
Food for the day:
B: sausage and eggs and coffee
L: pulled pork (yup my brother hooked his sister up)
D: steaks and some veggie not sure yet.
Have a great day!
Good morning menu peeps. Beautiful day here in Illinois and Lily and I have done our 3.6 miles already. We'll also do another mile after dinner. In a few minutes I'll head up to church (another mile) so hubby can have the car to come up later. I love that I often walk places around town now just because I can. Who is this Lady? QOTD more camping. In a few weeks we'll be heading out for three weekend shoots so we'll be gone nearly a month. Can't Wait! Post op 4 years 11.5 months and weight at 118.8 today. Didn't drink enough yesterday so that's a goal for today. Accountability stunk--there were so crackers and peanut butter eaten that were not planned for or necessary. Today is a new day though. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese and sliced tomatoes D 31/2 oz aged ribeye and 1/2 c sliced tomatoes S 3/4 c cottage cheese and 1 T no sugar added peach preserves. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal! Enjoy your day too.
I think it's great that you do so much walking.
